MAKAUT Even Semester 2024-25 result was published on 4th July. After that, many students are worried as they received backlogs in their results. In today’s update, we will explain how you can still be eligible for scholarships even if you have a backlog.
If you received any backlog during the current session, you should wait for the PPR (Post Publication Review) process. Through this process, your subject may be cleared, the backlog removed, and you might pass.
Therefore, if you are an SVMCM scholarship applicant and received a backlog by mistake, please wait for the Post Publication Review (PPR) process.
If your percentage is below 60% – like 59.25%, 59.98%, etc. – you are not eligible for the SVMCM scholarship as per the guidelines. In that case, you may go for PPR for one or two subjects if you are confident that your marks will improve enough to meet the eligibility criteria.
So, please wait for the PPR process. Still, suppose your result remains unchanged after PPR, or your percentage is still below 60%. In that case, you can consider applying for the OASIS scholarship (except for General category students) or the Aikyashree scholarship (only if you belong to a minority community).
In our next update, we will discuss how you can still be eligible for scholarships even if you have a backlog or supplementary. We have already discussed how to apply for PPR and when the PPR forms will be released.
If you received a backlog in any semester and you are an OASIS, Aikyashree, SVMCM, MCM, or Post-Matric scholarship candidate, you may still be eligible for scholarship benefits – depending on the scheme.
For example, if you received a backlog but are an OASIS scholarship candidate, you can still apply for renewal if your academic percentage is above 50%.
